Star Mountain Capital LLC, a private loan provider with $3.5 billion of assets under management, on Wednesday said Goldman Sachs Group Inc. GS vice president MaryAnn Pasquarello Stauffer has joined the firm as a managing director in its Philadelphia office. It’s the second Goldman Sachs executive to join Star Mountain this year after ex-Goldman partner George Mattson became president of the firm. In a statement, Stauffer said the move marks “an extremely compelling value proposition for my career, personal capital and trusted relationships, who are constantly looking for reliable and differentiated investments to complement their portfolio.” She previously worked for 17 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and has experience in private credit and private lending.
