Amaozn.com Inc. AMZN said Wednesday this year’s Prime Day event will take place July 11 to 12 and that new deals will drop every 30 minutes during select periods of the event. Shoppers in the U.S. will have more deals on small business products than before and the company will offer back-to-school and college deals priced under $5, $10 and $20 ahead of the event. Amazon will offer discounts on products from brands including Lancôme, Kérastase, Peloton, Victoria’s Secret, YETI, The Drop, and Sony, as well as exclusive deals on D’Amelio Footwear, OPI, and Alo Yoga. Shoppers can get up to 75% off an Amazon Fire TV 43 inch Omni Series. The stock was up 0.4% premarket and has gained 50% in the year to date, while the S&P 500 SPX has gained 14%.
