Toy company Spin Master Corp. was awarded US$2.4 million in IP infringement and copyright cases litigated in China. The cases involved Spin Master’s Paw Patrol and Bakugan brands. Spin Master has also pursued criminal cases against counterfeiters making versions of its toys that don’t meet safety standards. Spin Master stock is up 17.1% over the past year while the S&P 500 index has gained 5.1%.
