President Joe Biden on Tuesday said he expects an announcement on his decision for the top job at the Federal Reserve will come “in about four days.” Markets have been bracing for Biden’s decision on whether to renominate Fed Chairman Jerome Powell as head of the U.S. central bank, as Fed Gov. Lael Brainard also has interviewed for the job.
