Stocks opened modestly higher Monday, with bulls finding their footing after major indexes snapped a streak of five straight weekly gains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 113 points, or 0.3%, to 36,214, while the S&P 500 gained 0.2% to 4,693. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.2% at 15,887.
