U.S. stocks opened lower on Monday as the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average headed for their fifth day of losses as rising Treasury yields and rampant dollar strength continued to weigh on the market. The S&P 500 [s:spx] was off 8 points, or 0.2%, at 3,685. The Nasdaq Composite was flat at 10,867. The Dow was off 75 points, or 0.3%, at 29,514.
