President Joe Biden tested negative for COVID-19 on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning and “will discontinue his strict isolation measures,” said his physician in a letter released on Wednesday by the White House. The president, who first tested positive for COVID on Thursday, will wear a mask when he is around others until it has been 10 days since his positive result, added Dr. Kevin O’Connor. Biden is slated to give a speech in the White House’s Rose Garden at 11:30 a.m. Eastern, the White House’s press office said in a statement.
