About half of 1,500 people working at Deutsche Bank AG’s technology operations in Moscow have agreed to move to Berlin as part of an effort to make the German capital a new tech hub for the bank, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday. Citing a person familiar with the bank, the WSJ reported that Deutsche Bank has not yet determined what will happen with the employees that decided to stay in Russia. The report comes after Deutsche Bank said in March it planned to wind down its business in Russia in response to the invasion of Ukraine.
