The Biden administration said Tuesday that the pharmacies participating in the federal pharmacy program will no longer have residency requirements as part of an effort to ensure that college students can get their second COVID-19 vaccine shots if they are away from home or school. “Most pharmacies administering shots will now offer anyone a second dose, regardless of where they got their first,” Andy Slavitt, the White House’s senior advisor for the nation’s COVID-19 response, said during a White House briefing.
