SmileDirectClub Inc. said late Monday that it has appointed Troy Crawford as its chief financial officer, effective immediately. Crawford has served as the interim CFO since January, after Chief Financial Officer Kyle Wailes announced his resignation in late 2021. Crawford joined the teledentistry company as chief accounting officer in January 2020 after executive roles at GameStop Corp. Shares of SmileDirectClub were flat in the after-hours session after ending the regular trading day down 3.7%.
