Perella Weinberg Partners on Monday named its co-president, Andrew Bednar, as chief executive officer of the investment bank starting on Jan. 1. CEO and co-founder Peter Weinberg will step down at the end of the year but will remain as chairman of the board and also chairman of the working partner committee for the company’s high-vote stock. Bednar was a founding partner of Perella Weinberg in 2006 and has been co-president with Dietrich Becker since 2020. Becker, a founding partner based in London, will become president. Perella Weinberg shares are down 42.9% in 2022 compared to a loss of 30.5% by the Nasdaq .
