KFC notes the growing wait times for drive-thru windows, up nearly one minute since 2019 to reach six minutes and 22 seconds, according to data provided. “Over the course of their lifetimes, Americans spend a collective total of 37 billion hours in line,” the announcement said. Customers can find KFC’s Quick Pick-Up on the chicken chain’s website or on the app. KFC is part of the Yum Brands Inc. portfolio. Yum stock is up 16.6% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index has gained 24.7% for the period.
