The stock specialty chemical company’s stock is also the lone gainer among components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average , which tumbled 514 points, or 1.5%. Dow’s stock, which rallied 2.9% on Thursday following a better-than-expected first-quarter earnings report, has now climbed TK% amid a 10-day win streak. A close above $69.51 would produce the longest win streak since Dow’s stock started trading in its current form on March 20, 2019, according to data compiled by Dow Jones Market Data, passing the previous record win streak of nine sessions that ended June 13, 2019. The stock has soared 14.0% during its current streak. It has run up 23.1% year to date, making it the second-best Dow industrials performer over that stretch, behind only Chevron Corp.’s 28.4% gain. The Dow has lost 5.7% this year.
