Stocks opened higher Monday, kicking off the first trading day of May in rally mode as investors bet on the reopening of the U.S. economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 200 points, or 0.6%, at 34,076, while the S&P 500 rose 0.5% to 4,203 and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.4% to 14,012.
