Stocks ended mostly higher Monday, boosted as investors renewed bets on an economic reopening, leaving cyclically sensitive sectors to outperform pandemic winners, including tech-related stocks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell around 239 points, or 0.7%, to close near 34,114, according to preliminary figures. The S&P 500 advanced around 12 points, or 0.3%, to finish near 4,193. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite , however, ended with a loss of around 68 points, or 0.5%, near 13,895.
