Sales Executive

My client is a global leader in merchandise availability solutions for the retail industry. They provide loss prevention, inventory management and labeling solutions for retail and apparel industries. They were founded in 1969, about $500 million in revenue, growing and profitable, as well as being a division of a larger $2 billion + company.  

They are expanding their sales team and looking for a Sales Executive in the Northeast (NY/NJ-Boston) – home based.

Experience:

  • Experience handling large, enterprise accounts
  • Experience selling into retail/apparel
  • Experience into C level/VP level
  • Steady work history

Other Info:

  • Will be mainly existing business with large companies such as TJ Max, Tommy Hilfiger, Steve Madden, etc.
  • 7 people in division
  • Public company
  • Great environment – don’t micro manage (easy to speak to and get answers/decisions)
  • Replacing a lot of competitors
  • Great cash flow
  • No limits on compensation
  • Average sales cycle: 2-3 months for existing accounts, 12-18 months for new clients  

Base: $125k-$150k(+negotiable draw available) + accelerators on the plan
OTE: $200k first year
Quota: $5-6million
