Solutions Engineer

My client is leading provider of predictive marketing automation software that enables marketers to convert visitors into repeat buyers.
 
They are looking for a Solutions Engineer in San Francisco, CA.


Description:

  • Build and own the solutions consulting playbook
  • Lead and manage technical POCs and user pilots
  • Develop and fine-tune documents used in every stage of the sales cycle
  • Conduct regularly scheduled product demo webinars
  • Conduct tailored product demos for key prospects
  • Assess prospects’ marketing stack to determine the best implementation
  • Provide solution expertise by providing guidance, sharing domain expertise and helping to close the business
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer use cases, and demonstrate those use cases in our solution
  • Advise customer technical team on implementation strategies, configuration and best practices
  • Understand any bottlenecks preventing customers from achieving the most value and work with various functions to resolve issues
  • Act as a liaison between the product & sales teams

Requirements:

  • Comfortable and capable of developing and presenting custom demos to enterprise/strategic customers.
  • Familiarity with several areas of digital marketing & advertising technology, including web & mobile analytics, CRM, tag management etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in either solutions consulting/sales engineering, engineering program management, technical account management or related field; experience owning a sales territory from a technical perspective would be a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent business judgment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to travel

 

Base: $100k-$130K
OTE: $150k-$180K
