Account Executive

My client is a recognized industry leader founded in 1988 whose become North America’s leading logistics provider. They’re a worldwide international logistics provider that offers full-service supply chain and transportation solutions (LTL, FTL, and intermodal) for moving freight by land, sea, and air.

They are expanding their team and looking for an Account Executive located in San Diego, LA or Seattle.

 

The ideal candidates will be able to identify, pursue and close new business. Additionally, you will be called upon to work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide logistics and technology solutions for your clients. Nurturing positive relationships internally and externally is paramount to the success of the Account Executive.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Hunting new accounts and explore new areas of business
  • Establish relationships with account C-suite
  • Secure opportunities with decision makers and closing deals
  • Meet pre-established sales objectives
  • Geography depends where candidate is located

 

Requirements:
**Must have domestic, truck load experience**

  • 3+ years sales experience in logistics/ transportation
  • Proven track record in sales in transportation/logistics (3PL preferred)
  • Excellent communications skills (oral and written)
  • Highly motivated self-starter

Salary base: $50k – 100k plus uncapped commission / flexible pay program can start with lower base for higher commission rate or higher base with lower commission rate
