My client is a nationally recognized small batch craft coffee roaster company for hospitality, grocery, and specialty cafes. They have been awarded Roast Magazines Roster of the Year for North America.  Their quality coffees also brought home an Overall Chain Champion award & 25 medals at the North American Golden Bean Awards. They offer certified organics, estate-grown origin coffees, direct trade, fair trade, organic Iced teas and organic bottled cold brew.

They are growing and expanding and looking to bring on a Sales Manager in the Oakland area.

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in specialty coffee or similar specialty foodservice environment
  • Consultative sale experience and key account sales onboarding
  • Must have an understanding of basic business principals and restaurant/café operations in order to add consultative value to potential customers.
  • Has experience selling into hospitality, hotels, cafes, restaurants etc

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sell products and equipment to hotels, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores etc.
  • Hunt out new business
  • Manager existing business
  • Be a brand ambassador
  • Coordinate and execute all new customer training and marketing project support and accounts
  • Work with new customers to create value-added programs
