National Account Manager

My client is a specialty cleaning products company offering high-quality and innovative products which are specially formulated to care for specialty surfaces and clean-up life's toughest messes. Their consumer division includes products under seven well recognized commercial division. They have over 40 products and specialty brands that are backed by the Good Housekeeping Seal.

 

They are growing and expanding looking for a Digital Marketing Manager in the Atlanta area.

 

Experience:

  • Selling to commercial (Grainger, Staples, Uline)
  • Janitorial/Sanitation supply experience
  • Broker Management experience
  • Selling to retail market (EXPERIENCE SELLING INTO CANADA FOR ROLE WITHOUT BROKER MANAGEMENT)
  • preferably in the consumer major retail market sector (DIY, Co-Ops, Food Drug Mass and Canadian Market etc.)
  • Selling into national accounts

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the strategic direction, revenue and profit objectives of the sales channels
  • Regularly communicate with key internal stakeholders on market dynamics, competitive environment, progress against business plans, sales strategy, and business opportunities
  • Collaborate with and lead several cross-functional teams made up of Marketing, and New Product Development to develop a customer specific line of products and marketing strategy
  • Develop and aggressively implement formalized plans to gain and expand sales to the appropriate market
  • Develop excellent working relationships with retailers to achieve business objectives
  • Utilize an in-depth understanding of retailer dynamics, shopper/consumer knowledge, merchandising opportunities, and retailer promotional opportunities
  • Responsible for managing and implementing all account promotional programs within the retail market sector
  • Work with Manager to obtain new customers and develop new channels
  • Manage broker networks to exceed sales goal
  • Responsible for preparing Nielsen and IRI data to develop strong category management presentations
  • Provide accurate forecast for assigned accounts
