Sr. Account Executive

My client is a cloud and managed services solutions provider, offering a wide range of IT consulting services, specializing in cloud, mobile, full-stack and microservices across all industries and the Fortune 500. As an AWS & Microsoft Partner, they offer cloud strategy and planning alongside expert implementation and support services. 

They are expanding their team and looking for a Sr. Account Executive for the New York Metro area. This is a full-time quota carrying position.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and establish relationships with key corporate C-level representatives through prospecting, marketing leads and expansion of existing contacts within accounts.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Cloud / Managed Services offerings in specific verticals that is updated regularly and serves as a roadmap to their Cloud, Mobile, Full-stack & Microservices adoption success
  • Build and maintain strong sales pipeline and forecast, through discovery calls and meetings
  • Exceed annual and quarterly bookings and margin targets
  • Drive the sales process and manage the contract and process of new deals, including negotiating on price and contract terms
  • Work with technical counterparts to develop compelling tailored proposals that meet their client’s need
  • Provide weekly status updates for pipeline and sales activities

 

Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree.  MBA is a plus
  • 10 years of IT sales experience
  • Successful track record in scaling-up a ​start-up to ​mid-size ​Enterprise Software ​organization preferably in AWS & Azure cloud domain
  • Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are critical
  • Strong Executive presence

 

Base: $110/120k,
OTE:
$220/240k
